skin issues

I am experiencing something that I have never experienced before. My skin is hooribly irritated. I itch everywhere…that deep seeded itch that you can't seem to get relief from. I'm being told that it is because I have dry skin right now; but I'm not sure that is all because my skin is very sensitive as well. I can't put on make-up or lotion without my skin burning. I'm even having trouble putting on my sunscreen because it burns painfully. I have tried hypoallergenic products, but nothing works. I suffer thru the sunscreen because my job requires me to be out in the sun for part of the day. I am trying to limit my exposure as best I can, but this is really beginning to get to me.

It is effecting my interaction with my kids. I can't even go swimming with them (even at night) because the chemicals in the pool (both chlorine and salt water systems) hurt.

Has anyone else experienced the extremely sensitive/itchy skin…what helped?

I have a constant itch and my skin is open and bleeding on my hands and feet. Even bath water hurts, my children are grown so there are no real issues with not quality time, my grandson however, doesnt understand why Nana isnt in the pool. I have sued alot of lotions and even RX creams nothing really helps but recently a friends gave me some HEMP lotion and it seems to help with the burning some. Hope it helps you. It's available at Walmart in the cosmentic department.

I get this to, when i first got it i thought i had ring worm, i went to the doctor and said i think i have ring worm, he told me he did not think it was ring worm, not to long after that he told me i have Lupus. he gave me a Clotrimazole and Detamethasone Diproplonate cream, it does help the intense inching for a little, sometimes i have to keep putting it on, it does not make it go away but any help is good. Sometimes i ich so much i get bruising. My kids are grown up, it must be real hard for you and your kids, i hope you get a better soon so you can spend more time with your kids. I have been telling my self it is time to get a hat, and i need to put the sunscreen on, summer is here, their is no way to stay out of the sun altogether.

I am so sorry to hear about you itch. I have the same problem. I can use Squalor if I am inside and my skin is going crazy. But the only thing that helps outside is the Aveeno face for sensitive skin sunblock.
Hope you find something soon that helps.
    Saying a Prayer for you.
