Please join me in extending a warm welcome to our new Patient Advocate. Christine is a well-known blogger, a speaker, an outspoken advocate of invisible illness, and the originator of the "Spoon Theory" of communicating about chronic illness.
You may have run across her blog ButYouDontLookSick.com before. (http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com). Her blog is a wonderful resource and provides a true patient perspective on living with chronic illness.
She will be here on Lupus Connect to share her unique perspective and wisdom. She has lived with lupus for 18 years. In addition, she's also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Sjögren’s syndrome, Raynaud’s disease and neuropathy. She is also the mother of a beautiful daughter.
